Hi, I'm Mark and this is my "always-not-quite-up-to-date" website ... but hey, we all know that keeping one of these things current is a full-time job and well ... I have a life to live. So. please be patient and if there's anything you want to see or hear please let me know and I'll endeavour to fulfill you requirements as quickly as I can. In the meantime feel free to have a look around at my various activities from maths to music, photographs to poetry and the inevitable links to people, places and things I have found interesting from time to time during my journey through life. I have travelled extensively working variously as a chef, bartender, gardener, trust accountant, labourer, picture framer, decorator, salesman, baker, prison administrator, builder, writer, musician, teacher and flower-seller to name but a few; and I am a Father of two gorgeous daughters, Lauren and Elizabeth.

I love reading, writing poetry and music - listening to an eclectic mixture of styles and freely improvising with other musicians. Of course I try to relax with a bit of DIY or even just hanging out at home doing nothing but listening to the radio. I do spend quite a bit of time at my computer and enjoy learning about publishing on the world wide web although at times I'd rather just stay away from the damn thing! If I had to sum myself up in one word it would have to be - passionate...
